Product details
To meet the demands of electric mobility, CSB introduced the EVH series, and the EVH12140 is one of the products in this series. Its type is a 12V Top Terminal VRLA-AGM battery. Compared with the EVX series, this series has improvements in cycle life and cycle endurance, making it suitable for electric mobility or deep-cycle scenarios.
In terms of electrical specifications, the EVH12140 has a voltage of 12 Vdc and a nominal capacity of 14 Ah (1.75 VPC @25°C, 20hr-rate). When discharge conditions change, the capacity data also varies: 13.36 Ah at 8-Hr 1.75 VPC @25°C, 14.08 Ah at 20-Hr 1.75 VPC @25°C, and 13.12 Ah at 8-Hr 1.80 VPC @25°C. The maximum charging current is 4.20 A, the maximum discharge current is 180 A, the short-circuit current reaches 542 A, and the internal resistance is 10.0 mΩ. At 25°C, the equalization voltage must be controlled between 14.4 and 15.0 Vdc/battery.
In terms of construction, this battery uses valve-regulated sealed lead-acid design and absorbed glass mat technology, achieving a maximum gas recombination efficiency of 99%, and requires no maintenance. It uses a pure lead construction with proprietary elements added, the case is made of ABS (UL 94-HB) material, and the terminal specification is F2 terminal - Faston Tab 250. In terms of dimensions, the length is 151.0±2.0 mm, the width is 98.0±1.0 mm, the height is 98.4±1.5 mm, and the weight is 4.33 kg.
In terms of design life, at 25°C, the EVH12140 can achieve 450 cycles (100%DOD) or 1800 cycles (30%DOD). The operating temperature range includes: nominal 25°C, -15°C to 50°C during discharge, and -15°C to 40°C during charging and storage. Self-discharge performance: when stored at 25°C for 90 days, capacity loss is less than 10%, and it can be stored for up to 6 months, but it must be fully charged before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, it needs to be charged in advance.
This product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60254-1:2005 and IEC 60254-2:2008 standards, and has obtained UL1989 Recognized (MH14533) certification. The above parameters and certifications are sourced from product documentation. In actual use, please match them according to the specific equipment requirements and working environment.
