Product details
In CSB's XTV-WT series product line, the XTV12120WTFR is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery. It uses AGM absorbed glass mat technology, achieving gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%; it features a pure lead construction with proprietary elements. Its officially designated application area is renewable energy, primarily for demanding conditions such as wind power generation.
Regarding capacity data, at 1.75 VPC and 25°C, the 20-hour rate nominal capacity is 12 Ah, and the 8-hour rate capacity is 11.3 Ah; under 1.80 VPC conditions, the 8-hour rate capacity is 11.1 Ah. The maximum charging current is 3.60 A, the maximum discharge current is 180 A, the short-circuit current reaches 438 A, and the internal resistance is 15.0 mΩ.
Dimensions and terminal specifications: the battery is 151.0±2.0 mm long, 98.0±1.0 mm wide, and 101.8±1.5 mm high, weighing 4.10 kg. The case is made of flame-retardant ABS material (94-V0), and the terminal is an F2 Faston Tab 250 type.
Charging voltage and temperature range: at 25°C, the float charging voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc, and the equalization charging voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C; discharge and charging are permitted from -20°C to 50°C, and storage is permitted from -15°C to 40°C. Under 25°C float charging conditions, the design life can reach up to 12 years, with a Eurobat (20°C) rating of 10/12 years long life. Self-discharge is less than 10% after 90 days, and it can be stored for up to 6 months at 25°C, requiring a full charge before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charging is required sooner.
This battery is manufactured to IEC 61056-1/2:2012 standards and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). It can be used in renewable energy storage and wind power generation and related applications.
