Product details
The CSB XTV12200WTFR is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the XTV-WT series. It uses a pure lead construction with proprietary elements and combines absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology, achieving gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%. This battery is developed for harsh environments such as wind turbines, with an official application area of renewable energy. Nominal capacity is 20Ah (20-hour rate, 1.75VPC, 25°C); at the 8-hour rate, 1.75VPC corresponds to 18.4Ah and 1.80VPC corresponds to 18.0Ah.
In terms of electrical performance, maximum charge current is 6.0A, maximum discharge current is 230A, short-circuit current is 591A, and internal resistance is 12.2mΩ. At 25°C, float voltage is 13.5 to 13.8Vdc and equalize voltage is 14.4 to 15.0Vdc. The battery has a low self-discharge rate: after 90 days of storage at 25°C, remaining capacity is still above 90%, and it can be stored for up to 6 months; however, it must be fully charged before use, and if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charging is required sooner.
Under float charge at 25°C, design life can reach 12 years, meeting the Eurobat long-life standard (10/12 years at 20°C). Operating temperature range: nominal 25°C; -20°C to 50°C for both discharge and charge; -15°C to 40°C for storage. The case is made of flame-retardant ABS (94-V0). Terminals are of the I1 threaded lead alloy type, accept M5 bolts, and have a recommended torque of 3.0±0.6 N·m (30.4±6.1 Kgf·cm or 26.4±5.3 Lbf·in).
Dimensions: length 181.0±2.0mm, width 76.0±1.0mm, height 165.0±2.0mm, weight approximately 6.35kg (14.00 lb). The product complies with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is certified to UL1989 (MH14533). With its maintenance-free design and efficient gas recombination, this battery is suitable for renewable energy storage systems such as wind power and operates reliably even in harsh environments.
