Product details
The MSJ-300 in the MSJ series is a 2V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery that uses AGM absorbent glass mat technology, with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and is a maintenance-free design. This series targets applications such as telecommunications that require high-capacity float standby power, and is officially positioned as a 2V high-capacity long-life telecom battery with a service life of up to 20 years under float charge at 25°C.
In terms of capacity specifications, the nominal capacity of the MSJ-300 is 300Ah (1.80VPC@25°C, 10-hour rate). At 25°C, it is 304.00Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.75VPC, 314.00Ah at the 20-hour rate at 1.75VPC, and 296.00Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.80VPC. In addition, the maximum charging current of the battery is 90.00A, the maximum discharge current is 1800A, the short-circuit current is 5075A, and the internal resistance is only 0.33mΩ.
In terms of structural design, the MSJ-300 uses a pure lead construction with proprietary formulation elements, and the case uses flame-retardant ABS (UL 94-V0) material. The terminal specification is an I4 threaded copper alloy terminal, compatible with M8 bolts, and the terminal torque is 126±25 Kgf·cm, 109±22 Lbf·in, or 12.3±2.5 N·m. In terms of dimensions, the width is 150.0±1.5mm, the height is 339.0±2.5mm, the depth is 170.0±2.0mm, and the overall weight is 21.80kg.
In terms of charging and temperature conditions, at 25°C, the float charge voltage is 2.21 to 2.25Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage is 2.35Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C, the discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C, and the charging and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C. In terms of self-discharge performance, self-discharge is less than 10% after 90 days of storage at 25°C, and it can be stored for up to 6 months; it must be fully charged before use, and if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, it needs to be charged in advance.
The MSJ-300 is manufactured in accordance with the IEC 60896-21/22:2004 standard and has obtained UL1989 recognition (MH14533). Under float charge at 25°C, its design life can reach 20 years; according to the Eurobat (20°C) standard, it achieves a Very Long Life rating of greater than 12 years, making it suitable for telecommunications and other applications requiring long-term float standby.
