As a member of the MSJ series, the CSB MSJ-650 is a 2V nominal voltage valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery. Its AGM absorbed glass mat technology achieves 99% gas recombination efficiency. The manufacturer positions it as a high-capacity, long-life product for telecommunications float standby power. At 1.80VPC, 25°C, and the 10-hour rate, the nominal capacity reaches 650Ah; also at 25°C, when discharged at 1.75VPC, the 8-hour rate is 658.40Ah and the 20-hour rate is 682.00Ah; when discharged at 1.80VPC, the 8-hour rate is 640.80Ah. In terms of electrical specifications, at 25°C the float voltage ranges from 2.21 to 2.25Vdc, the equalization voltage is 2.35Vdc, the maximum charge current can reach 195.00A, the maximum discharge current is 3900A, the short-circuit current is 13235A, and the internal resistance is only 0.26mΩ. The battery uses pure lead plates and a proprietary element formula, with a maintenance-free design, suitable for high-capacity float standby power applications. In terms of self-discharge characteristics, when stored at 25°C for 90 days, the capacity loss is less than 10%, and storage is possible for up to 6 months, but a full charge is required before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, a supplementary charge is needed in advance. In terms of life design, the MSJ-650 has an expected life of up to 20 years under float charge conditions at 25°C and meets the Eurobat (20°C) Very Long Life classification requirement of greater than 12 years.
