The MSJ-400 is a 2V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in CSB's MSJ series, manufactured with AGM (absorbent glass mat) technology, achieving up to 99% gas recombination efficiency in a maintenance-free design. This series targets the telecommunications sector, meeting the backup power demands for high capacity and long float life. Its nominal voltage is 2Vdc. At 25°C and 1.80VPC, the 10-hour rate nominal capacity is 400Ah; also at 25°C, at 1.75VPC the 8-hour rate reaches 405.60Ah and the 20-hour rate is 420.00Ah, while at 1.80VPC the 8-hour rate is 394.40Ah.
In terms of electrical performance, the MSJ-400 can withstand a maximum charge current of 120.00A and a discharge current of 2400A, with a short-circuit current of 6065A and an internal resistance of only 0.30 mΩ. At 25°C, the float charge voltage ranges from 2.21 to 2.25 Vdc/battery, and the equalize charge voltage is 2.35 Vdc/battery (25°C).
