The CSB MU-1000 is a 2V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the MU series, utilizing Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and built with a pure lead construction and proprietary formulation. This series was further developed from the MSV and MSJ, targeting higher-capacity float backup power requirements, with telecommunications as the officially designated application.
In terms of capacity, at 25°C and 1.80VPC, the MU-1000 has a nominal capacity of 1000Ah at the 10-hour rate; at 25°C and 1.75VPC, the 8-hour rate capacity is 904.00Ah and the 20-hour rate capacity is 1080.00Ah; and at 25°C and 1.80VPC, the 8-hour rate capacity is 888.00Ah. The battery's internal resistance is 0.29 mΩ, the maximum charging current is 300.00A, and the maximum discharge current is 3000A.
Charging voltage and temperature ranges are also clearly specified. At 25°C, the float charging voltage is between 2.21 and 2.25 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charging voltage is 2.35 Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C, the discharge temperature range covers -15°C to 50°C, and the charging and storage temperature range falls between -15°C and 40°C.
