The CSB HR1232W is a 12V top-terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the HR series. It features a pure lead construction with a proprietary element formulation, combined with Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, achieving gas recombination efficiency of up to 99% in a maintenance-free design. The HR series is engineered for high-rate discharge, making it suitable for UPS and standby applications with lower power output that require rapid discharge. Its officially designated application is data center uninterruptible power supplies. Specifications: The HR1232W has a voltage of 12 Vdc; at 1.67 VPC, 25°C, the nominal capacity is 32W @15min-rate. In terms of power performance, at the 5-minute rate, 1.67 VPC, 25°C, it delivers 66.1 W per cell; at the 15-minute rate, 1.67 VPC, 25°C, it delivers 32.0 W per cell. Maximum charge current is 3.20 A, maximum discharge current is 130 A, short-circuit current is 335 A, and internal resistance is 22.7 mΩ. Charging and temperature conditions: At 25°C, the float charge voltage range is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalize charge voltage range is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. The self-discharge rate is less than 10% after 90 days of storage at 25°C.
