Product details
The CSB HRL series includes 6V and 12V top-terminal VRLA batteries, and the HRL12150W is one of them, with a nominal voltage of 12 Vdc. At 25°C and 1.67 VPC, the 15-minute rate nominal capacity is 150W; in terms of power per cell, it reaches 271 W/cell at 5 minutes, 1.67 VPC, 25°C, and 156 W/cell at 15 minutes, 1.67 VPC, 25°C. This series is officially positioned as long-life, high-rate UPS pure lead batteries, mainly serving high-power data centers and UPS loads, with the officially listed application being data center UPS.
In terms of electrical specifications, the HRL12150W can withstand a maximum charge current of 15.0 A, a maximum discharge current of 225 A, a short-circuit current of 1116 A, and an internal resistance of 7.30 mΩ. Float voltage is set at 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery (25°C), and equalize voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery (25°C). For self-discharge, after 90 days at 25°C, capacity loss is less than 10%; the battery can be stored at 25°C for up to 6 months, but must be fully charged before use. If storage temperature exceeds 25°C, recharge is required earlier.
In terms of structural design, the battery uses VRLA technology and an absorbed glass mat separator, with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and is maintenance-free. The positive and negative plates are constructed of pure lead with a proprietary element formulation, suitable for high-rate UPS and float standby power applications. Manufacturing is based on IEC 61056-1/2:2012, and it is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). The case material is ABS (UL 94-HB); a flame-retardant 94-V0 version is available upon request.
In terms of dimensions and installation, the HRL12150W is 195.6±2.0 mm long, 130.0±1.5 mm wide, and 174.8±2.0 mm high, weighing 11.95 kg. The terminals use I2 threaded lead alloy and can be used with M6 bolts; terminal torque is 51.7±10.3 Kgf·cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf·in, or 5.10±1.0 N·m.
For temperature conditions, the nominal temperature is 25°C, discharge is allowed from -15°C to 50°C, and charge and storage are allowed from -15°C to 40°C. For design life, it can reach 10 years in 25°C float standby service; under Eurobat (20°C) standard commercial conditions, it is 10 to 12 years.
