Product details
The HRL1225W is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the CSB HRL series. It uses absorbed glass mat technology with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and features a pure lead construction with a proprietary element formulation. This series is designed specifically for high-rate UPS and float standby power applications, with data center uninterruptible power supplies as the officially designated application.
In terms of specifications, the HRL1225W has a nominal capacity of 25W at the 15-minute rate, tested at 1.67VPC, 25°C. Its 5-minute rate power is 54.16 W/cell, and its 15-minute rate power is 25.67 W/cell. The battery can withstand a maximum charge current of 2.50 A, a maximum discharge current of 130 A, a short-circuit current of 328 A, and an internal resistance of 19.60 mΩ. Float voltage is set at 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery (25°C), while equalize voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery (25°C).
Dimensions and terminals: the battery measures 90.0±1.0 mm in length, 70.0±1.0 mm in width, and 106.1±1.5 mm in height, and weighs 1.95 kg (4.30 lb). The terminal specification is F2 terminal - Faston Tab 250. The case is made of ABS material (UL 94-HB), with a flame-retardant (94-V0) version available on request.
Regarding temperature conditions, the nominal temperature is 25°C (77°F); the discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F); and the charge and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C (5°F to 104°F). Self-discharge performance: stored at 25°C for 90 days, self-discharge is less than 10%, and the battery can be stored for up to 6 months; it must be fully charged before use, and if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, recharging is required sooner.
In terms of design life, it can reach 8 years in float service at 25°C, and meets the Eurobat (20°C) standard of 10 to 12 years. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is recognized to UL1989 (MH14533). The HRL1225W offers a maintenance-free design and high-rate discharge capability, making it suitable for applications such as data center UPS systems that demand high standby power reliability.
