Product details

The CSB TPL121000FR is a front terminal VRLA battery in the TPL series. It utilizes Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and features pure lead construction and a proprietary element formula. This product is positioned as a float backup power source, with the manufacturer's specified application area being telecommunications. The series is designed to meet the multi-hour runtime requirements of broadband applications. In terms of electrical specifications, the nominal voltage is 12 Vdc and the nominal capacity is 100 Ah (1.80 VPC @25°C, 10-hour rate). Capacity varies under different discharge conditions: 100 Ah at the 8-hour rate to 1.75 VPC @25°C, 107 Ah at the 20-hour rate to 1.75 VPC @25°C, and 96.8 Ah at the 8-hour rate to 1.80 VPC @25°C. The maximum charge current is 30 A, the maximum discharge current is 800 A, the short-circuit current is 2216 A, and the measured internal resistance is 3.70 mΩ. For charge management, at 25°C the float voltage range is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc per battery, and the equalize voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc per battery. Operating temperature conditions: nominal temperature 25°C, discharge allowed from -15°C to 50°C, charge and storage allowed from -15°C to 40°C. After 90 days, the self-discharge rate is less than 10%; it can be stored for up to 6 months at 25°C and must be fully charged before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, recharge is required earlier. In terms of structural design, the case is flame-retardant ABS (UL 94-V0), and the terminals are I2 threaded lead alloy, compatible with M6 bolts. The terminal torque is 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm (44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in or 5.1±1.0 N∙m). Dimensions: length 511.6±2.5 mm, width 110.0±1.5 mm, height 255.5±2.5 mm, weight approximately 38.30 kg (84.41 lb). Under float charge conditions at 25°C, the design life can reach up to 12 years, and it meets the Eurobat long life standard (greater than 12 years at 20°C). This product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533).
