In CSB's XHRL series, the XHRL12620W is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery with top terminals. Compared with the HRL series, this series places greater emphasis on high-rate discharge performance and is suitable for float standby applications such as data center UPS. This battery uses absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology, achieves gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, is maintenance-free, and features a pure lead construction with a proprietary element formulation.
The rated capacity of the XHRL12620W is 620W, measured at the 15-minute rate, 10.02V per cell, and 25°C. Its power per cell at 25°C and 1.67VPC is 923.67 W/cell at the 5-minute rate and 620.00 W/cell at the 15-minute rate. The maximum charging current is 62.00 A, the maximum discharge current reaches 800 (5 seconds), the short-circuit current is 3722 A, and the internal resistance is 2.40 mΩ.

Charging and temperature conditions: at 25°C, the float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C, the discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C, and the charging and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C. The self-discharge rate is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, and the battery can be stored for 6 months, extendable to 10 months with equalization charging; it must be fully charged before use, and if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, it should be charged earlier.
In terms of service life, the design life can reach 10 years in 25°C float standby service, and can exceed 12 years under Eurobat 20°C conditions. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is recognized under UL1989 (MH14533).
