Product details
The CSB XTV121000, part of the XTV series, is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery with a top terminal design. It uses AGM (absorbent glass mat) technology, achieving a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and features a pure lead construction. This series is engineered for telecom broadband applications and can be deployed both indoors and outdoors. At 25°C, the battery has a nominal capacity of 100Ah (20-hour rate, 1.75VPC); at the 8-hour rate and 1.75VPC, the capacity is 90.4Ah; at the 8-hour rate and 1.80VPC, it is 89.7Ah, making it suitable for float-charge backup power scenarios.
In terms of electrical specifications, the XTV121000 has a float charge voltage of 13.5 to 13.8Vdc at 25°C, an equalization charge voltage of 14.4 to 15.0Vdc, a maximum charge current of 30A, a maximum discharge current of 800A, a short-circuit current of 2258A, and an internal resistance of 4.10mΩ. The battery has a low self-discharge rate; after 90 days of storage at 25°C, the remaining capacity is still above 90%, and it can be stored for up to 6 months, but must be fully charged before use. If the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, a supplementary charge is required in advance.
In terms of dimensions, the XTV121000 measures 308.7mm in length, 169.0mm in width, and 213.6mm in height, and weighs approximately 30.20kg. The terminals use an I2 threaded lead alloy and are compatible with M6 bolts, with a terminal torque of 5.1±1.0N·m. The case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available upon request. The battery is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533).
Regarding operating temperature, the nominal temperature is 25°C, the discharge and charge range is -20°C to 50°C, and the storage range is -15°C to 40°C. Under float-charge service at 25°C, the design life can reach 12 years, meeting the Eurobat long-life classification (greater than 12 years at 20°C). The battery is maintenance-free and suitable for float-charge backup power applications such as telecommunications, maintaining stable performance even in extreme temperature environments.
