Product details
The CSB XTV1272, part of the XTV series, is a 12V top-terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery featuring AGM absorbed glass mat technology with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and a pure lead construction. This series targets telecom broadband applications and can be deployed both indoors and outdoors, primarily serving as a float backup power source.
In terms of capacity, the XTV1272 is rated at 7.2Ah (1.75VPC @25°C, 20hr rate); at the 8-hour rate, it delivers 6.72Ah (1.75VPC @25°C) and 6.56Ah (1.80VPC @25°C), while at the 20-hour rate it provides 7.40Ah (1.75VPC @25°C). The maximum charge current is 2.16A, the maximum discharge current is 130A, the short-circuit current is 305A, and the internal resistance is 20.40mΩ.
Regarding charging and temperature conditions, at 25°C the float voltage ranges from 13.5 to 13.8Vdc, and the equalization voltage is 14.4 to 15.0Vdc. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C; the discharge and charge operating range is from -20°C to 50°C, and the storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C. In terms of self-discharge, less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, with a maximum storage of 6 months; a full charge is required before use. If the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, recharge is needed sooner.
In terms of dimensions, the XTV1272 measures 150.9±2.0mm in length, 64.8±1.0mm in width, and 98.6±1.0mm in height, weighs 2.57kg, and is equipped with F2 Faston Tab 250 terminals. The case is made of ABS (UL 94-HB), with a flame-retardant (94-V0) version available upon request. Under float charge at 25°C, the design life is up to 12 years; under the Eurobat (20°C) standard, it falls into the 10/12-year long life classification.
This product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012, is UL1989 recognized (MH14533), features a maintenance-free design, and is suitable for float backup power applications under extreme temperatures, such as indoor and outdoor backup power for telecom equipment. When storing or using, please operate according to the aforementioned voltage and temperature conditions to maintain expected performance.
