Product details
The CSB XTV1285, part of the XTV series, is a 12V VRLA battery featuring a Top Terminal design and AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology, achieving a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%. This series uses pure lead and is purpose-built for telecom broadband applications, suitable for both indoor and outdoor deployment.
In terms of capacity, the XTV1285 at 25°C and 1.75VPC delivers a 20-hour rate nominal capacity of 8.5Ah, a 20-hour rate capacity of 8.80Ah, an 8-hour rate capacity of 8.00Ah at 1.75VPC, and an 8-hour rate capacity of 7.87Ah at 1.80VPC. The maximum charge current is 2.55A, the maximum discharge current is 130A, the short-circuit current is 288A, and the internal resistance is 20.9mΩ.
In terms of dimensions and terminal configuration, the battery measures 150.9±2.0mm in length, 64.8±1.0mm in width, and 98.6±1.0mm in height, with a weight of approximately 2.62kg. The terminal type is F2 Faston Tab 250. The case is made of ABS (UL 94-HB), with a flame-retardant version (94-V0) available upon request.
Charging parameters and temperature ranges are as follows: at 25°C, the float charge voltage ranges from 13.5 to 13.8Vdc, and the equalize charge voltage ranges from 14.4 to 15.0Vdc. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C, the discharge and charge temperature range is -20°C to 50°C, and the storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C. Self-discharge is less than 10% after 90 days, and the battery can be stored for up to 6 months at 25°C, requiring a full charge before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, a recharge is required sooner.
This product is maintenance-free and suitable for float standby power applications, particularly for telecom communication backup power under extreme temperature conditions. At 25°C in float service, the design life can reach 12 years; according to the Eurobat 20°C standard, it falls into the 10/12-year long life classification. Manufactured in accordance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and recognized to UL1989 (MH14533).
