VRLA battery in the XTV pure lead series for telecom broadband applications — the CSB XTV12120, with a 12V design. The battery is officially positioned for operation in both indoor and outdoor environments, with a nominal capacity of 12 Ah (1.75 VPC @25°C, 20-hour rate); at the 8-hour rate, it is 11.2 Ah at 1.75 VPC @25°C and 11.1 Ah at 1.80 VPC @25°C. Absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology is used in this battery, with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, maintenance-free characteristics, and a pure lead construction with proprietary elements. In terms of electrical parameters, the float voltage is 13.5 - 13.8 Vdc/cell (25°C), and the equalize voltage is 14.4 - 15.0 Vdc/cell (25°C). 3.60 A is the maximum charge current, 180 A is the maximum discharge current, the short-circuit current is 438 A, and the internal resistance is 15.0 mΩ. Under float conditions at 25°C, the design life can reach 12 years; the Eurobat long life standard (10/12 years at 20°C) is also met. The self-discharge rate remains low, below 10% after 90 days at 25°C, and the battery can be stored for up to 6 months; however, it must be fully charged before use, and if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, it should be charged earlier.
