Product details
The CSB GPL121000 is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery belonging to the GPL series. This series is the long-life version of the GP series, intended for general purpose standby power applications and designed to deliver a longer service life. The battery uses absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, features a maintenance-free design, and is suitable for float standby power applications.
In terms of capacity, the GPL121000 has a nominal 20-hour rate capacity of 100 Ah at 25°C and 1.75 VPC, a measured 20-hour rate capacity of 103.80 Ah, an 8-hour rate (1.75 VPC) capacity of 95.20 Ah, and an 8-hour rate (1.80 VPC) capacity of 94.40 Ah. The battery has a maximum charge current of 30.00 A, a maximum discharge current of 800 A, a short-circuit current of 2606 A, and an internal resistance of 3.2 mΩ.
The battery dimensions are 343.0 mm in length, 170.0 mm in width, and 216.9 mm in height, with a weight of approximately 33.50 kg. The terminals are I2 threaded lead alloy terminals that accept M6 bolts, with a terminal torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf·cm, equivalent to 44.9±9.0 Lbf·in or 5.10±1.0 N·m. The case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available upon request.
For charging, the float charge voltage at 25°C is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C, the discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C, and the charge and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C. Regarding self-discharge, more than 90% capacity remains after 90 days of storage at 25°C, storage is possible for up to 6 months, and a full charge is required before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, recharge earlier.
In terms of life, the design life is up to 10 years in float standby service at 25°C and greater than 12 years under the Eurobat (20°C) standard, placing it in the Very Long Life category. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is recognized under UL1989 (MH14533). These characteristics make it suitable for general purpose standby power applications requiring long periods of float standby.
