In the GPL series, the CSB GPL12400 is the long-life version of the GP series, designed primarily for general-purpose float standby power. This battery is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery utilizing Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and is maintenance-free. Its construction uses pure lead, is manufactured in accordance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012, and is recognized under UL1989 (MH14533).
In terms of capacity specifications, the GPL12400 has a nominal capacity of 40Ah (1.75 VPC @25°C, 20hr-rate). At 25°C, the 8-hour rate 1.75 VPC capacity is 40.32Ah, the 20-hour rate 1.75 VPC capacity is 44.40Ah, and the 8-hour rate 1.80 VPC capacity is 39.60Ah. The battery has a maximum charge current of 12.00A, a maximum discharge current of 400A, a short-circuit current of 1182A, and an internal resistance of 8.5 mΩ.
