The GPL12120 is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) battery in CSB's GPL series, featuring a top terminal design and Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology that achieves up to 99% gas recombination efficiency with no routine maintenance required. Its nominal capacity is 12 Ah at the 20-hour rate (1.75 VPC @25°C); at the 8-hour rate, the capacity is 9.76 Ah (1.75 VPC @25°C) or 9.60 Ah (1.80 VPC @25°C). Dimensions are 151.0±2.0 mm in length, 98.0±1.0 mm in width, and 100.3±1.5 mm in height, weighing approximately 4.10 kg, and it is equipped with F2 Faston Tab 250 terminals.
Electrically, the battery has a maximum charge current of 3.60 A, a maximum discharge current of 180 A, a short-circuit current of 458 A, and an internal resistance of only 13.2 mΩ. At 25°C, the float voltage should be maintained at 13.5 - 13.8 Vdc per battery, and the equalize voltage at 14.4 - 15.0 Vdc per battery. The design float life can reach 8 years at 25°C and complies with the Eurobat long life standard (10/12 years at 20°C). The self-discharge rate is low, with remaining capacity still above 90% after 90 days of storage, and it can be stored for up to 6 months at 25°C; always fully charge before use, and if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charge ahead of time.
The operating temperature range covers: nominal 25°C, -15°C to 50°C during discharge, and -15°C to 40°C during charge and storage. The case material is ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available upon request. The product meets the IEC 61056-1/2:2012 standard and is UL1989 certified (MH14533).
