Product details
The CSB MSV-1000 is a 2V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the MSV series. Its core technology is an AGM absorbent glass mat design that achieves up to 99% gas recombination efficiency and is maintenance-free. The series targets high-capacity, long-life emergency and telecommunications applications, and the MSV-1000's official application is Telecom.
In terms of capacity, the MSV-1000 delivers a 10-hour rate nominal capacity of 1000Ah at 25°C and 1.80 VPC. Also at 25°C, at 1.75 VPC, the 8-hour rate is 984.00Ah and the 20-hour rate is 1030.00Ah; at 25°C and 1.80 VPC, the 8-hour rate is 960.00Ah. In addition, the battery's internal resistance is 0.38 mΩ, the maximum charge current is 300.00A, and the maximum discharge current is 6000A.
For charging and temperature conditions, at 25°C the float voltage must be maintained between 2.21 and 2.25 Vdc/battery, and the equalization voltage is 2.35 Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C, the discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C, and the charge and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C. For self-discharge, capacity loss is less than 10% after 90 days of storage at 25°C, and storage at 25°C is possible for up to 6 months, but the battery must be fully charged before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, recharge is required earlier.
In terms of construction, the MSV-1000 uses a pure lead construction and proprietary formulation, with a flame-retardant ABS casing that meets UL 94-V0. The terminals are I4 threaded copper alloy type, accept M8 bolts, and have a terminal torque of 126±25 Kgf·cm, 109±22 Lbf·in, or 12.3±2.5 N·m. The dimensions are 471.0±2.5mm long, 171.0±2.0mm wide, and 339.0±2.5mm high, and the weight is 64.40kg.
In terms of life and compliance, the MSV-1000 has a design life of up to 15 years in float-charge standby service at 25°C, and more than 12 years under Eurobat 20°C conditions, placing it in the Very Long Life category. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). These features make it suitable for backup power applications such as telecommunications that require long-term float-charge standby.
