Product details

The CSB MSV-400 belongs to the MSV series and is a 2V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery utilizing Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, achieving a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99% with a maintenance-free design. Telecommunications and similar applications require high-capacity backup power. This battery has a nominal capacity of 400Ah (at 25°C, 1.80VPC, 10-hour rate). Additionally, the 8-hour rate (1.75VPC) capacity is 408Ah, the 20-hour rate (1.75VPC) capacity is 424Ah, and the 8-hour rate (1.80VPC) capacity is 400Ah, meeting these requirements. In terms of design, the battery uses a pure lead construction with proprietary elements. At 25°C, the float life can reach 15 years, meeting the Eurobat long-life standard (over 12 years at 20°C). Its casing is made of flame-retardant ABS material (UL 94-V0) and is equipped with I4 threaded copper alloy terminals that accept M8 bolts, with a terminal torque of 126±25 Kgf·cm (12.3±2.5 N·m). It weighs approximately 24.90 kg, with dimensions of 197.0mm in length, 170.0mm in width, and 339.0mm in height, and an internal resistance of 0.43 mΩ. Charging parameters are as follows: at 25°C, the float voltage is 2.21~2.25 Vdc/cell, the equalization voltage is 2.35 Vdc/cell, the maximum charging current is 120.00A, and the maximum discharge current is 2400A. Operating temperature range: nominal 25°C, discharge allowed from -15°C to 50°C, charging and storage allowed from -15°C to 40°C. The self-discharge rate is low, less than 10% after 90 days of storage at 25°C, and it can be stored for up to 6 months. However, it must be fully charged before use. If the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, a recharge is required in advance. The MSV-400 is specifically designed for high-capacity float-charge backup power applications and is suitable for the telecommunications field. Its manufacturing complies with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and UL1989 (MH14533) certifications. The combination of long life, high capacity, and maintenance-free features enables this battery to provide reliable support for critical backup power systems.
