Product details

The MSV-800 is a product in the CSB MSV series. With a nominal voltage of 2V, it uses a VRLA-AGM valve-regulated sealed lead-acid design and is aimed primarily at the telecommunications sector, providing high-capacity, long-life backup power for large emergency and communication facilities. In terms of capacity, it is rated at 800Ah at 25°C, 1.80 VPC, 10-hour rate. When discharged at 1.75 VPC, the 20-hour rate yields 820.00Ah and the 8-hour rate yields 784.00Ah; when calculated at the 1.80 VPC 8-hour rate, it is 768.00Ah. Users can select the appropriate configuration based on their actual discharge regime. This battery uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology and a valve-regulated sealed structure, achieving a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99% and requiring no maintenance. It is also made with pure lead combined with proprietary elements, making it suitable for high-capacity float backup power. Manufacturing standards follow IEC 60896-21/22:2004, and it holds UL1989 certification (MH14533). Its case is made of flame-retardant ABS material meeting UL 94-V0 specifications, providing safer operating conditions in locations such as communication equipment rooms. In terms of electrical specifications, the MSV-800 has a nominal voltage of 2 Vdc, a maximum charge current of 240.00A, a maximum discharge current of 4800A, and an internal resistance of only 0.38 mΩ. At 25°C, the float voltage must be controlled between 2.21 and 2.25 Vdc/battery, and the equalization voltage is 2.35 Vdc/battery. The terminals use I4 threaded copper alloy and can be secured with M8 bolts at a torque of 126±25 Kgf·cm, 109±22 Lbf·in, or 12.3±2.5 N·m, helping telecom DC power systems achieve secure connections. In terms of dimensions and weight, the battery is 373.0±2.5mm long, 174.0±2.0mm wide, and 339.0±2.5mm high, weighing 50.60kg (111.52 lb.). It is a large-capacity 2V cell suitable for forming battery strings as backup power in telecom communication equipment rooms. Its design life is up to 15 years under 25°C float conditions; according to the Eurobat (20°C) standard, it can exceed 12 years, reaching the Very Long Life rating, meeting the long-term float standby needs of communication and emergency power supply. In terms of temperature adaptability, the nominal temperature is 25°C (77°F). Discharge can be operated from -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F), while charging and storage are between -15°C and 40°C (5°F to 104°F). In terms of self-discharge, capacity decreases by less than 10% after 90 days of storage at 25°C, and it can be stored for up to 6 months, but it must be fully charged before use. If the storage temperature is above 25°C, a supplementary charge is required earlier to keep the battery in good condition.
