Product details

The CSB MSV-650 is a 2V VRLA-AGM valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the MSV series, officially designated for telecom applications. The series is positioned as a VRLA 2V high-capacity, long-service-life telecom battery line suitable for large emergency and communication scenarios. The battery has a nominal voltage of 2 Vdc; at 1.80 VPC and 25°C, the 10-hour rate nominal capacity reaches 650 Ah; at the 20-hour rate, 1.75 VPC, and 25°C, the capacity is 692.00 Ah; at the 8-hour rate, 1.75 VPC, and 25°C, it is 636.80 Ah; at the 8-hour rate, 1.80 VPC, and 25°C, it is 624.00 Ah. In terms of electrical performance, the MSV-650 has a maximum charge current of 195.00 A, a maximum discharge current of 3900 A, and an internal resistance of 0.38 mΩ. At 25°C, the float voltage is 2.21 to 2.25 Vdc/battery, and the equalize voltage is 2.35 Vdc/battery. The terminals are I4 threaded copper alloy terminals compatible with M8 bolts, with a terminal torque of 126±25 Kgf·cm, 109±22 Lbf·in, or 12.3±2.5 N·m. In terms of dimensions, the battery is 307.0±2.5 mm long, 171.0±2.0 mm wide, and 339.0±2.5 mm high, and weighs 41.40 kg. The case material is flame-retardant ABS meeting UL 94-V0. Operating temperature: nominal 25°C, discharge range -15°C to 50°C, charge and storage range -15°C to 40°C. The MSV-650 uses a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid structure and absorbed glass mat AGM technology, with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and is maintenance-free. Its pure lead construction and proprietary element formulation make it suitable for high-capacity float backup power applications. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). Under 25°C float conditions, the design life can reach 15 years, and under the Eurobat (20°C) standard it exceeds 12 years, placing it in the very long life category. In terms of storage characteristics, the MSV-650 has a low self-discharge rate, with less than 10% self-discharge over 90 days at 25°C. It can be stored in a 25°C environment for up to 6 months and must be fully charged before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charging is required earlier. These features make the battery suitable for telecom and other applications requiring long-term float backup.
