The XPL2000 is a battery in CSB's XPL series and is a 12V top-terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery. This product uses absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology, achieving gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and features a maintenance-free design. This series is a high-capacity pure lead VRLA series, mainly targeting long-duration backup scenarios that require large individual cells; the officially published application area is data center uninterruptible power supplies. In terms of electrical and power parameters, the XPL2000 has a nominal capacity of 2000W @5min-rate, tested at 25°C with 9.60V per battery. Its 5-minute rate power reaches 321.33 W/cell, and its 15-minute rate power is 173.67 W/cell; both tests are based on 1.67 VPC at 25°C. The battery can withstand a maximum charge current of 16.70 A, a maximum discharge current of 400 A, a short-circuit current of 1243 A, and an internal resistance of 6.33 mΩ. At 25°C, the float charge voltage range is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalize charge voltage range is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. In terms of mechanical structure, the XPL2000 is equipped with I2 threaded lead alloy terminals that accept M6 bolts, with a terminal torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, or 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, or 5.1±1.0 N∙m. The case is made of ABS material and meets the UL 94-HB standard; a flame-retardant 94-V0 version can be requested separately. In terms of design life, it can reach 10 years under float standby service at 25°C; according to the Eurobat standard, it is classified as 10/12-year long life at 20°C. Self-discharge characteristics are: stored at 25°C for 90 days, self-discharge is less than 10%; the battery can be stored for up to 6 months, and with equalizing charge this can be extended to 10 months. It must be fully charged before use; if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charge it earlier. This product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 recognized under recognition number MH14533.
