The CSB XPL4200 is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the XPL series, utilizing Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and is maintenance-free. Because of its pure lead construction and proprietary element design, this battery is suitable for high-rate UPS and float standby power applications. The product meets IEC 60896-21/22:2004 standards and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). In terms of electrical specifications, the XPL4200 has a nominal capacity of 4200W @5min-rate (9.60V per PCS @ 25°C). At 25°C and 1.67 VPC, the W/cell power ratings are: 979.83 W/cell at 30 seconds, 660.50 W/cell at 5 minutes, and 370.17 W/cell at 15 minutes. The maximum charge current is 35.00 A, the maximum discharge current is 900 A, the short-circuit current is 2616 A, and the internal resistance is 3.22 mΩ. For terminals, the battery uses an I2 thread lead alloy terminal to accept M6 bolt, with a torque value of 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm / 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in / 5.1±1.0 N∙m. It must be fully charged before use, and if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, it should be charged earlier. The official designated application is data center UPS (uninterruptible power supply), and its large-capacity pure lead VRLA series is positioned for long-duration standby scenarios requiring large batteries.
