The CSB XPL4700 belongs to the XPL series and is a high-capacity pure lead valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery. It utilizes Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, achieving a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and is maintenance-free. The nominal voltage is 12V, and at 25°C with 9.60V per cell, the 5-minute rate power is 4700W. The terminals use I2 threaded lead alloy, accept M6 bolts, and the recommended torque is 5.1±1.0 N·m. This battery is developed for high-rate UPS and float standby power applications, with data center uninterruptible power supply systems being its primary use case. At 1.67VPC and 25°C, the 30-second, 5-minute, and 15-minute power ratings are 1054.67 W/cell, 758.17 W/cell, and 438.83 W/cell, respectively. The maximum charge current is 39.20A, the maximum discharge current is 1050A, the short-circuit current is 2759A, and the internal resistance is 2.86 mΩ.
