Product details

The CSB GP121000 in the GP series is a general purpose valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery, covering 6V and 12V top-terminal VRLA-AGM products. This model has a nominal voltage of 12 Vdc and a nominal capacity of 100 Ah at the 20-hour rate at 1.75 VPC and 25°C. Additional capacity data is as follows: 94.4 Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.75 VPC, 102 Ah at the 20-hour rate at 1.75 VPC, and 92.0 Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.80 VPC. In terms of electrical parameters, the GP121000 can withstand a maximum charging current of 30.00 A, a maximum discharge current of 800 A, a short-circuit current of 2323 A, and an internal resistance of 4.4 mΩ. At 25°C, the float charging voltage ranges from 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charging voltage ranges from 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. For self-discharge, capacity loss is less than 10% after 90 days of storage at 25°C, and storage is possible for up to 6 months, but a full charge is required before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, recharging is required sooner. The battery uses valve-regulated sealed lead-acid design and absorbent glass mat AGM technology, with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and is maintenance-free. The plates are constructed of pure lead with proprietary formulation elements and are designed specifically for float standby power applications. The case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available upon request. The terminal type is I2, accepts M6 bolts, and the terminal torque is 51.7±10.3 Kgf·cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf·in, or 5.10±1.0 N·m. In terms of dimensions and weight, the GP121000 is 343.0±2.5 mm (13.50±0.10 in) long, 170.0±2.0 mm (6.69±0.08 in) wide, 216.9±2.5 mm (8.54±0.10 in) high, and weighs 30.6 kg (67.44 lb). Under float standby service at 25°C, the design life can reach 5 years; according to the Eurobat (20°C) standard, the commercial life is 3 to 5 years. Operating temperature range: nominal 25°C (77°F), discharge from -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F), and charging and storage from -15°C to 40°C (5°F to 104°F). The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). The GP series is officially positioned as a general purpose VRLA battery series, suitable for a variety of applications such as security, emergency lighting, and medical equipment. The GP121000 meets the need for 12V high-capacity float standby power, and its maintenance-free AGM design and pure lead construction help standby power systems maintain stable operation.
