The GP12170 is a general-purpose valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery in the CSB GP series, featuring a 6V and 12V top terminal VRLA-AGM structure with a rated voltage of 12Vdc. Its capacity performance is as follows: at 25°C and 1.75VPC, the 20-hour rate nominal capacity is 17Ah; at the 8-hour rate and 1.75VPC it is 18.56Ah, at the 20-hour rate and 1.75VPC it is 18.20Ah, and at the 8-hour rate and 1.80VPC it is 18.40Ah. For charging, the maximum current is 5.10A; for discharging, the maximum current can reach 230A; the short-circuit current is 532A; and the internal resistance is 14.0mΩ.
This battery combines valve-regulated sealed lead-acid design with absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology, achieving a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99% and requiring no maintenance; at the same time, it uses a pure lead construction and proprietary formulation elements, and is built for float standby power applications.
