Product details

The CSB GP1272F2 belongs to the GP series of general-purpose products, with a rating of 12V 25W, and is a valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery. It uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, making it maintenance-free. The battery is manufactured to IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is UL1989 certified (MH14533). The case is made of ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available. In terms of electrical performance, at 25°C, the 15-minute rate power is 24.5W/cell, and the 5-minute rate power reaches 48.9W/cell. The maximum charging current is 2.5A, the maximum discharge current is 130A, the short-circuit current is 160A, and the internal resistance is 25.8mΩ. At 25°C, the float charging voltage range is 13.5-13.8Vdc/battery, and the equalization charging voltage range is 14.4-15.0Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C (77°F). The allowable temperature range during discharge is -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F), while the charging and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C (5°F to 104°F). The self-discharge rate is low: after 90 days of storage at 25°C, the remaining capacity is still above 90%; the battery can be stored for up to 6 months, but must be fully charged before use. If the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charging is required sooner. In terms of physical specifications, the battery measures 150.9±2.0mm in length, 64.8±1.0mm in width, and 98.6±1.0mm in height, and weighs approximately 1.84kg (4.06 lb). The terminal type is F2 (Faston Tab 250). Under float charging at 25°C, the design life is up to 5 years, meeting the Eurobat standard (20°C) for a 3-5 year commercial-grade life. This battery is widely used in general-purpose float standby power applications such as security systems, emergency lighting, and medical equipment. The valve-regulated sealed construction ensures safety and reliability, AGM technology provides efficient gas recombination, and the pure lead construction with proprietary elements further enhances performance.
